An amazing lay down of a full house (Jacks full of tens) at the 2008 WSOP
I’m really not sure how many players could have done this. In the 2008 WSOP main event, with 3 players in the hand, all with pocket pairs, the flop gives Greg Geller trip kings, while Roberto Romanello hits trip jacks. The third player, Mike Matusow, folds his pocket 9s.
Both players check on the flop, and the turn brings a ten. Both players check again, and the river brings another ten, giving both players a full house!
Geller of course now raises, and Romanello has a big decision – and makes the right one, he lays down his pocket jacks! Watch Matusow’s reaction at around 2:25 when he grabs his head and says “Wow – how do you ****** fold that hand?” – priceless!
